Actuarial Pricing Analyst

A life insurer have an outstanding opportunity for a student actuary to work fully remotely (should you wish) as a Pricing Analyst. There is the opportunity to spend time in the office with the team in person if you prefer.

This is a role which will involve collaborating closely with the pricing actuary and other stakeholders in the business. You will be working within a small pricing function, which is part of a wider actuarial team.

You will apply hands-on experience in modelling to perform pricing analysis for private medical insurance and cash plan products. You will utilise tools such as R and VBA for modelling and analysis, with potential exposure to Python.

You will have strong modelling experience from either a life insurer or health insurer.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in working with large datasets, leveraging your analytical skills for accurate pricing assessments.
• Experience with R and VBA for modelling is preferred, and familiarity with SQL for database management is beneficial.
