Senior Capital Management Actuary

Location: Flexible - Choose from London, Edinburgh or Midlands office location (Hybrid / Flexible working)

Experience Required:

• You will be a qualified actuary (IFoA or equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of Matching Adjustment & Solvency II regulation - essential
• Excellent relationship builder; ability to drive complex and challenging initiatives is key.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a rapidly growing organisation; we're looking to recruit a Senior Capital Management Actuary in to their Matching Adjustment team.

The Senior Capital Management Actuary will provide expert input to Matching Adjustment treatment of new asset and product propositions to support strategy; You'll drive proposals for the inclusion of assets, reinsurance, and liabilities in the MA portfolio and own the Matching Adjustment methodologies, including MA calculation, PRA tests, asset hypothecation and idiosyncratic features of illiquid credit.

The Senior Capital Management Actuary will also use benchmarking and management information to identify and execute management actions to optimise the Matching Adjustment fund whilst building and maintaining effective relationships across the group, understanding stakeholder interests and ensuring outputs from the actuarial function remain up-to-date, relevant and effective.
