Financial Reporting Actuary (Based in Bermuda)

Our client is a leading global reinsurer with a well-established hub in Bermuda.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee critical aspects of financial reporting, focusing on IFRS, Solvency II, and EBS frameworks.
• Collaborate with Group Divisions to shape and maintain reporting solutions for international growth.
• Support onboarding for new business and ensure alignment between financial metrics and pricing.
• Prepare insightful reports and analyses for the Chief Actuary and committees as needed.
• Develop financial projection capabilities aligned with the business plan.

Requirements:

• Qualified Life Actuary with around five years of reporting actuarial experience.
• Deep understanding of bulk purchase annuities, with work experience in the UK/US market. Ensure technical accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Strong in relationship management, stakeholder engagement, and risk assessment.
• Independent yet collaborative thinker, upholding integrity while delivering results within tight timelines.
• Proficiency in interpreting complex financial information and using technology, ideally including AXIS software.
