Pension Risk Transfer Director

Then this is an exciting opportunity to take the lead on Pension Risk Transfer within a leading provider of insurance solutions to defined benefit pension schemes with a strong execution and implementation track record.

To be successful in the role, you will be a qualified actuary with an extensive knowledge of Defined Benefit Pension Schemes.

You will also possess previous relevant experience working in a consultancy environment or another relevant pricing role (e.g., at another life insurance or de risking provider).

In this exciting leadership position, you will own and manage the pricing of deals, including driving detailed reviews and analysis of deals with a view to seeking opportunities for improvements in deal economics.

You will also provide creative and innovative solutions to pension schemes who are looking to de-risk, with a consistent focus on leading the New Business Team to deliver against ambitious value and volume-based new business delivery targets.

In addition, you will ensure accuracy and alignment with the Group pricing basis, by carrying out peer reviews and implementing and owning consistent quality and risk controls within the team including assisting and supporting with the completion of quality assurance (QA) exercises.
