Proposition Development Actuary
A rapidly expanding Insurer is looking for qualified actuary to join their product team in their fast growing Retirement business
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to developing and testing investment products, strategies, and propositions, and provide recommendations to Senior Management to support decision making.
- Lead or contribute to large-scale projects and act as an actuarial subject matter expert for capital and investment modelling within the structuring team.
- Communicate technical actuarial concepts to non-technical audiences and continuously improve processes and procedures to deliver effective product solutions
Requirement
- Qualified Actuary with experience in UK life insurance market with exposure to liability and capital modelling.
- Extensive experience in asset and capital modelling and developing and analysing hedging strategies.
- Excellent communication skills, strong stakeholder management, problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of technical software including Python VBA.
