Reinsurance Pricing Actuary/Associate Underwriter

My client is currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Actuary with a background in pricing to join their dynamic and growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the analysis, pricing/modelling, and evaluation of profitable treaty reinsurance business. This role offers a diverse range of opportunities to work with various markets and lines of business within P&C treaty reinsurance.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth analysis and evaluation of treaty reinsurance business to identify profitable opportunities.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and assist in developing customized solutions.
• Make a daily impact by contributing to the future growth and success of the organization.
• Participate in initiatives and foster collaboration with colleagues and clients to drive improvements in underwriting processes and solutions.

Requirements:

• Passion for working with numbers and the ability to derive meaningful insights from data.
• Strong digital literacy, particularly in Microsoft Excel. Programming skills in VBA or similar languages are advantageous.
• Open-minded, proactive, and a team player who takes ownership and demonstrates reliability.
• Possess a completed university degree, preferably in actuarial science or quantitative studies.
• Previous experience in a non-life actuarial role or underwriting in insurance or reinsurance is desirable.
• Excellent command of both German and English languages.
