Are you a GI reserving analyst with the desire to be at the forefront of the fast-evolving digital insurance market?
Then this is an exciting opportunity for you to develop your career within a vibrant, diverse and progressive team, underpinned by a collaborative and customer-centric .
To be successful in the role, you will have an excellent understanding of reserving techniques, with an ability to critically interrogate and communicate results to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Additonally, you will possess a strong working knowledge of data manipulation and visualisation, with experience working with reserving software.
In this highly agile role within a fast-moving environment, you will take a lead role in the monthly reserving process across all lines of business (private car and commercial vehicle), reporting on the results to the wider business.
Applying actuarial techniques, you will develop claims to their ultimate position in order to calculate capital underwriting results, including assessing the impact of claims inflation on the portfolio.
Supporting on translating the output from the monthly reserving process into financial and solvency reporting, you will also develop data flows while creating downstream management information tools and systems.
Study support will be provided.
