I am currently recruiting on behalf of a established Lloyd's Syndicate who are seeking a Global Head of Claims Operations to take over the team on a 12-14 month FTC.

This will be a global role that deals with operations worldwide and will involve BDX Processing, Claims Processing, Xchanging Queries and so on.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and lead the Claims Operations team, providing direction, guidance, and support to ensure that all claims are processed accurately and efficiently.
• Develop and implement claims processes to support the claims teams across multiple lines of business and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify opportunities to improve the claims operations process, including the implementation of new technologies and processes.
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders such as brokers, insurers, and reinsurers, as well as internal teams such as Underwriting, Finance, and Risk.
• Manage the claims operational budget, ensuring that costs are in line with business objectives and identify opportunities for cost savings where possible.
• Collaborate with other teams within the Syndicate to drive innovation and ensure a high-performance culture throughout the Claims Operations function.
• Keep up to date with market developments, regulatory requirements, and best practices in claims operations.
