Then this is an excellent opportunity to join a firm which will encourage you to generate creative solutions while supporting you in becoming a high-performing professional within the field of London Market reserving.
With the ability to solve problems using your own initiative, you will ideally possess experience and knowledge of General Insurance or London Insurance Market.
You will also have knowledge of actuarial reserving techniques while knowledge of Res-Q is desirable.
However, candidates from a life or pensions background, seeking out a new challenge, will be considered for this role.
Supporting the Reserving team in the quarterly reserving process, you will assist with IBNR estimation for catastrophe claims, review the non-catastrophe AvE analysis, model reserves, writing reports for Committees and the Board and process key data items.
Supporting the production of the Actuarial Function Report, you will also assist in the production of Solvency II and GAAP technical provisions for Lloyd’s.
In addition, you will support the production of reserve risk and other reserving parameters within the internal model while having the opportunity to explore and develop new reserving approaches and methodologies.
