Actuarial Systems Manager (SQL, Prophet)

You will be using SQL and the likes of RiskAgility to develop and maintain the reserving models using appropriate governance frameworks. You'll be involved in project based work that focuses on driving improvements through new software and systems.

Oliver James is recruiting on behalf of a leading financial protection insurer, selling Income Protection, Critical Illness cover and Life Insurance.

We are on the search for candidates who are either fully qualified actuaries, or part qualified actuaries who are not continuing with exams but have equivalent experience. • SQL
• Knowledge of an Actuarial modelling software (RAFM, Prophet, Tyche, Mo.Net, MG-Alfa etc)

The successful candidate will use the software, RiskAgility FM, Unify and SQL to maintain and develop the reserving models using appropriate governance frameworks, and ensure the data within our data warehouse is accurate for reporting.

You'll be someone who is enthusiastic to do things better, as alongside the day job you will have exposure to projects where you can have an impact on driving improvements through new software and systems. You'll also be approachable and communicative, demonstrating an ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances.
