Join our clients dynamic Marine team as an Actuarial Analyst, where you'll have the opportunity to utilise a wide range of actuarial and analytical techniques to provide valuable numerical insights and advice. In collaboration with the Actuarial Analytics Lead, you'll play a crucial role in delivering high-quality solutions and enhancing our clients' value proposition.

As an Actuarial Analyst, you'll build and maintain bespoke actuarial pricing models and analytical frameworks to enhance stakeholder understanding of risk profiles, optimise risk transfer solutions, and support brokers in negotiating competitive terms from the market. You'll leverage your skills in data analysis and interpretation, processing data from various sources to generate insightful reports and analyses for a diverse range of stakeholders.

Our client values efficiency and automation, and you'll have the opportunity to refine existing pricing models and data analysis using software and coding, promoting efficiency and driving automation within the team. Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, you'll effectively communicate the modelling process, results, and their significance through formal reports and presentations.

In this role, you'll also contribute to the innovation of new products, marketing approaches, and services to enhance clients' value proposition. You'll investigate actuarial assumptions, maintaining the client's commercial position while upholding professional standards. Your robust documentation practices will ensure accuracy and relevance of analytical outputs and assumptions, clearly addressing any limitations.

We are looking for people who deliver high-quality work autonomously, maintain standards under pressure, and continuously seek opportunities for improvement. 

To excel in this role, you should be part-qualified IFoA (or equivalent) certification, with actuarial pricing experience You'll bring at least 2 years of experience in GI actuarial pricing.
