Job Details

An incredible opportunity for a qualified life actuary with a strong appetite for change and experience of driving continuous improvement to help grow a completely new financial reporting and change team within a major insurance Group.

As New Business Reporting Actuary, you will manage the reporting of the financial impact of new business on all funds of the Group on all financial reporting bases, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery.

Primarily supporting the Pensions and Savings business, you will generate insight and financial MI which will which directly support the business in setting strategy to drive profitable new business and optimising the inforce business on open product lines.

As an expert in new business financial performance, you will also support strategic change projects impacting the financial reporting processes and informing financial impacts of proposed activities.

Knowledge of financial reporting metrics, including SII and IFRS is highly desirable, as is experience of reporting on those metrics.

An understanding of how new business interacts with a Life Insurance balance sheet is also desirable, as is knowledge of capital metrics and new business capital strain.
