Reserving Actuary | London | £120,000

You will be responsible for reserving, technical modelling, and analysis for a range of classes predominantly property and specialty classes. You will work closely with stakeholders from various departments, including finance, underwriting, risk, and claims, to communicate your findings and provide actuarial input to the pricing models of the Syndicate.

To be successful in this role, you should have a highly numerate graduate degree or equivalent with experience in (re)insurance reserving, exposure to and knowledge of pricing and capital models, and knowledge of the actuarial techniques for London market lines of business. You should also be able to manage multiple priorities on projects simultaneously, manipulate and analyse data to identify trends and anomalies, and communicate with a number of stakeholders.

In addition to technical skills, you should have a detailed understanding of the Lloyd's insurance market and the regulatory framework in which it operates. You should be qualified or close to this milestone. Ideally you will have Reserving experience however, my client is open to those looking to move into Reserving as well.

You should note, this role is for qualified actuaries who are missing senior responsibility - due to small team, the role will take ownership of the entire reserving process.
