Senior GI Actuary, Capital/Reserving

Are you a qualified actuary with experience in a capital team.  If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! As part of our clients Actuarial Function, you will have a highly visible role in which you will interact with stakeholders from all over the company to deliver high-quality capital modelling and the annual capital submissions relevant to regulators.

Our clients priorities have included the implementation of a best-in-class pricing platform for Insurance and Reinsurance lines across their global portfolio, setting up an IMAP process, and the evolution of their reserving function to spend more time on deep dives and value-add analysis.

Reporting to the Lead Capital Actuary, you will lead the development of capital modelling processes for key risk areas, specifically Reserve Risk, and co-ordinate the calibration, validation, and documentation of Reserve Risk across multiple entities. You will also own the narrative of capital/profile cumulative changes over the year, ensure that audit processes are followed, and prepare relevant documentation to support capital submissions.
