Excellent New Asset, Investment Opportunity

Clarence George is working with a Leading Insurer on an Investment Business Development Opportunity.  The team are involved in many transactions so they are looking for a quick learner and someone who can work in a fast-paced environment.

Team:

• The team is a front line buy-side team and has 15 years of experience altogether
• They are looking for someone that is happy to get their hands dirty, deliver and be involved in the execution
• The team’s aim is to source asset classes for the business to back the fast-growing annuity book. You will seek assets from new Asset Managers, Investment banks and Boutique funds and onboard them
• They work mainly within fixed income, but this includes looking at solar, electric, and green assets

Profile:

• A sweet spot of about 5 years’ experience
• They are looking for someone with fixed income, investment, and SAA experience
• Strong VBA modeler. Any Python experience/knowledge would be a plus
• Responsibilities: This person will support on existing mandates – doing market research, valuations, and will also be a contact point with buyers. You will drive the process and run through all the firm’s committees, legal, and other teams
• This hire will also need to find new asset managers (set up IMA and implementation of mandates)
