Are you a qualified life actuary looking to move to a global reinsurer, or currently working in reinsurance and are looking for a more senior role?
There are currently roles within the Pricing team, at all levels, of a leading global reinsurer, to work on Protection pricing for their UK and Irish clients
An understanding of the protection market in the UK or Ireland is essential, as this role will require detailed understanding of Life, CI and IP products from either the Individual or Group markets.
The roles are varied, and will include aspects from research and development, product development, experience analysis and basis setting. Key to the role is then using this background to optimise your pricing for tenders, reprices and pricing reviews.
Additionally, you will have exposure to internal and external clients, and will be able to develop your non technical skills, such as communication and relationship management.
Knowledge of Actuarial modelling tools is essential, and an ability to analyse data using statistical packages is desirable.
This role offers an ability for actuaries working in protection to make a move to a global reinsurer, or for additional career progression for current reinsurance pricing actuaries.
