Job Details
Star Actuarial is currently representing a unique opportunity for a part-qualified actuary with knowledge of DB pensions to join a major insurer where you will manage the arrangements agreed following a Defined Benefit Pension Risk Transfer (PRT) deal.
Providing post-sale monitoring and calculations relating to buy-in/out pricing, reinsurance, longevity insurance and collateral arrangements, you will assist with the on-boarding of new PRT reinsurance arrangements.
You will also maintain ongoing relationships with numerous reinsurers, and potentially Trustee counterparts.
The role would suit somebody with a keen interest in processes, automation and operations.
Understanding of pension scheme liabilities would be beneficial as would coding experience.
An exciting role offering exposure to a number of diverse workstreams as well as the opportunity to work closely with the deals team.
