Our client, a major insurer, has a fantastic career opportunity for a qualified life actuary to provide support in providing input in all actuarial aspects of the pricing of existing products and allocated development projects.
In this key role, you will provide quantified results from profit testing work or capital assessments which will form part of the team input into development projects.
Overseeing the production of pricing management information, you will also manage the development and testing of tools and models for use by the Retail Pricing team and others, ensuring the models follow the latest agreed Group Pricing methodology and metrics.
In addition, you will manage the operational activity of the Retail Pricing team including manual calculations and technical customer queries.
The successful candidate will possess a background in pricing and/or project work relating to new product development in the life/health insurance industry.
You will also have excellent skills with relevant computer packages (Excel, VBA), including the ability to develop models from scratch within those packages alongside a track record in developing and maintaining such systems.
