BPA Transition Lead

Oliver James are pleased to be working with a leading insurer with ambitious growth plans in their search for a a BPA Transition Lead to manage a team of of 4.

Within this role you will pro-actively lead a team of Transition Managers and Senior Transition Managers to support Trustee clients and their administration partners through the transition as part of a buy-in or buy-out arrangement. You will take the lead on the management of large and complex Schemes and oversee the journey from deal execution to buy-out.

Role requirements:

• Excellent knowledge of the BPA process from initial deal execution through to buy-out, either with an actuarial background or pensions operations
• Previous experience managing a team of experienced professionals, potentially within a project environment or a team of actuaries
• Excellent knowledge of DB Pensions, with experience of understanding and applying benefit specifications to determine member benefits
