C++ Coder - Actuarial Systems Developer

One of the leading and most of innovative life insurers in the industry are seeking to hire an ambitious and outgoing modelling actuarial analyst to work on some major developments (ahead of new automations and regulatory changes with IFRS17). This will be a varied role which will involve offering a lot of training and support the actuarial model users across the finance function. As such, this role would suit someone who enjoys working well with others and building relationships across the business. You will get involved in lots of process automation. It would be joining a small team in a highly visible role and learning from a very experienced and well respected Head of Actuarial Modelling who you will aid your personal development.

This role is replacing a nearly qualified actuary although non-actuaries with C++ coding experienec could be considered or more junior students would also be considered for this role. You will have experience in either C++, Python, Matlab or R and/OR it would be useful if you have experience of development of a actuarial system like Prophet, Mo.Net or RAFM. Excellent study support is on offer if you would like and there is longer term good internal mobility across the business.
