If you are a part-qualified life/pensions actuary with a good technical understanding of DB Pensions, then this is an exciting opportunity to join a leading financial services group where you will provide key support for the collation, analysis and submission of reinsurance and reporting data.
In this excellent career development opportunity, you will ensure that monthly and annual reinsurance data is prepared for onward distribution both internally and to reinsurance partners in accordance with Treaty timeframes, maintaining the monthly workflow.
You will also validate the accuracy of the true up data against the Operational monthly reporting.
In addition, you will provide, gather and assess mortality data as required while ensuring an understanding of all reinsurance treaties, sharing knowledge with relevant teams in DB as necessary.
You will possess the ability in using Excel to manage and manipulate large data sets, using both Excel functions and VBA.
Experience in using coding languages to assist with large scale data analysis - for example, VBA, Python, Julia - would be beneficial.
