Job Details
A fantastic opportunity for a qualified actuary to join a major insurance Group where you will provide commercial insight to support ideas generation, collaborating with wider teams to optimise the balance sheet including assumptions and modelling changes.
Developing a detailed understanding of the value drivers within the annuities and mortgages businesses, you will develop complex models and analysis to support balance sheet optimisation initiatives, management actions, assumptions changes and modelling improvements.
You will also provide commercial insight to support ideas generation for opportunities to optimise assumptions, risk capital requirements and the Matching Adjustment within the context of the regulatory framework and the Internal Model.
With a good understanding of the life insurance balance sheet, the successful candidate will possess good knowledge of annuities and the Matching Adjustment.
With a passion for the application of technology to solve business problems, you will also have good systems experience coupled with excellent financial modelling skills and experience of building complex models for assets and liabilities within an annuities context.
