A significant opportunity for a qualified actuary with expert knowledge of longevity management to make your mark within a major insurance Group, owning the Group strategy for longevity risk and developing innovative approaches within longevity research and development.
In this diverse and highly visible role, you will lead the setting and development of longevity assumptions and approaches, working across bulk purchase annuities, individual annuities, protection products and equity release mortgages.
You will also develop medical longevity models to ensure that the impact that medical conditions have on longevity is well understood, taking into account best practise.
In addition, you will own the capital models and calibrations for Longevity Risk, ensuring that Internal Model standards are adhered to for all deliverables, while leading on all governance and regulatory engagement for Longevity Risk.
An excellent relationship builder, you will have the ability to deliver complex and challenging initiatives working across functional boundaries.
You will also possess well-honed communication and influencing skills.
