Syndicate Reserving Actuary

Our client is a specialty (re)insurer at Lloyd's, underwriting a diverse range of Property, Commercial and Specialty (re)insurance products from Cargo and Marine to Political Violence, Terror and War. Our client combines data and automation to make smart decisions.

Our client is seeking a newly-qualified actuary with GI reserving experience, preferably with commercial lines or specialty lines exposure. Reporting to the Head of Reserving, the successful candidate will support reserving tasks across all our client's activities.

This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious actuary to join a dynamic team within a prestigious Lloyd's syndicate. You will work on complex reserving projects and support regular portfolio analysis of classes. In addition, you will gain exposure to regulatory reporting and assist with the production of Lloyd's quarterly and annual management returns.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

• Qualified or nearly qualified
• Knowledge of Reserving techniques and models
• Lloyd's of London Market experience preferable
• Experience of coding desirable such as MS Excel VBA, SQL, Python, R
