Senior Reserving Analyst

Ogden Scott is currently working in partnership with a commercial lines insurer who are seeking a Senior Reserving Analyst to join their growing team.

This exciting new opportunity is perfect for a Reserving Analyst with 5-6 years of general insurance experience.

In this key role, you will be responsible for reserve and portfolio reviews, analysis of development patterns, performance analysis, IBNR analysis, with an ultimate focus on driving profitability.

You will have direct engagement with the CEO and CFO alongside reporting to senior stakeholders, therefore candidates who are keen to have high visibility across their business, will be at an advantage.

In addition, you will have the opportunity to progress within the company as it expands and develops in this period of rapid growth. The role will come with a clear line of progression, visibility, and engagement, therefore those who are intrinsically driven, are desirable for this role.

Requirements:

• 4-6 years of reserving experience; Experience in personal or commercial lines ideally; Ability to communicate clearly and confidently; Knowledge of SQL desirable but not essential; Right to work in the UK;
