Insurance de-risking specialist consultant

Leading partner-led consultancy seeking a number of part or qualified pensions actuaries to join their reputable insurance de-risking team | £50-85k dependent on qualification and experience

Oliver James are pleased to be working with a leading partner-led consultancy seeking a number of part or qualified pensions actuaries to join their reputable insurance de-risking team.

Within this role you will advise both Trustee and Corporate clients, on both the strategy and implementation of de-risking transactions across a wide range of scheme and transaction sizes. You will undertake a central role in broking some of the largest and more interesting transactions in the market, liaising and negotiating with (re) insurers and project managing.

Role requirements:

• Part or qualified actuary with experience or working in a DB consulting team or a bulk purchase annuity provider
• Hands-on experience of working on de-risking transactions i.e. buy-ins, buy-outs and/or longevity swaps or a strong desire to do so
• Excellent UK pensions technical knowledge
