Chief Risk Officer - Luxembourg - insurance - reinsurance

CRO - Luxembourg - 2/3 days working from home

We are looking for an experienced Actuary/Risk profile with experience in M&A to be a key function holder for their European entities.

This is an incredible opportunity to join an emerging European business across Life insurance and Reinsurance.

The role will report into the Group Chief Risk Officer and the CEO of the group. The CRO will support the Group CRO to deliver appropriate second line financial risk management across Luxembourg entities and their branches. Considering the size of the Company and the team, this role is also a unique opportunity to be both strategic and hands-on.

CRO will be working on acquisitions, will ensure level of risks are reduced, will work on ORSA process and will maintain the risk appetite statement.

You will need to prove a deep understanding of the risks in life insurance products, extensive knowledge of the financial and operational risk management of life insurance business, including risk mitigation techniques.

Fluent in English is mandatory. Any other language such as French, German, Italian or Spanish is a plus.

Salary - Competitive + fantastic bonus structure

Location - Luxembourg and occasional business travel across Europe

Working from home - 2/3 days a week as long as you can be in Luxembourg when required.
