Job Details
An incredible and diverse opportunity for a qualified actuary to join the newly-formed asset management risk team of a major insurance Group where you will help grow the illiquid assets oversight model and capabilities.
In this highly responsible and visible role, you will design and implement a Line 2 oversight risk framework for the structuring of assets of Group shareholder funds.
You will also assess the appropriateness of structured solutions for Group shareholder assets backing the annuity business (Matching and Non-Matching Adjustment funds) and other balance sheet items (e.g. Own funds, SCR, risk Margin and so on).
Having responsibility for the ongoing risk oversight of the implementation of asset structures, you will assess asset risks emerging from BPA transactions, portfolio rebalancing, appropriateness of the asset strategy, consistency with internal risk policies and regulatory requirements.
To be successful in this role, you will have a track record of developing, implementing or providing oversight on the structuring or securitisations of annuity and non-annuity backing assets.
Coming from a quantitative background and with well-honed influencing skills, you will additionally possess experience of reporting and presenting at senior management / executive level.
