Investment Strategy Analyst (BD Team in Insurance)

Leading asset manager and insurance brand seeking an Investment Strategy Analyst to join their Investment Business Development team in London

Oliver James are pleased to be working with a leading asset manager and insurance brand seeking an Investment Strategy Analyst to join their Investment Business Development team in London.

Within this role you will provide research and analysis in the implementation of new asset classes for the UK retirement business. You will support the team in the on-boarding of external managers and will propose and develop ideas and tools to improve the monitoring of the different asset classes.

Role requirements:

• Good understanding of insurance company balance sheets having worked in insurance/asset/investment management
• Strong and demonstrable understanding of fixed income valuation concepts and models
• Good understanding of all major asset classes
• Ideally part/qualified CFA/FIA

This is a unique opportunity to join a team with ambitious growth plans to expand by 50%. This team are the market leader in this space in terms of assets on the balance sheet and are offering a complex role with plenty of scope to progress and move laterally across the business.
