Outline of the Role

To manage claims from all lines of Marine business including Ports & Terminals, Yachts, Cargo and Marine Trades in our London office in a proactive manner at individual and portfolio level with focus on achieving high levels of satisfaction for the insured and broker through high quality claims management, resolution and excellent client service.

Key Responsibilities

• Keeping Finance advised of any material claims as set out in the claims authority, protocols and procedures
• Contributing to marketing and underwriting strategies and future business development.
• Providing input to underwriters on review of potential or existing insured's claims experience.
• Reporting and analysing claims trends and developments and their potential impact on the book.
• Operating within approved claims authority at all times.
• Working closely with the Underwriters and the Claims team in London and Amman as necessary.
• Assisting the Claims Manager and Senior Claims Adjuster in day to day claims administration.
