Actuarial Contractor - With-Profits Management

Oliver James is recruiting on behalf of a leading life insurance company who require an experienced Life Actuary to support the With-Profits team.

This is a day rate contract position, outside IR35. With-Profits experience is required and you must be UK tax resident.

Start: April, May, June 2023
Duration: 6 month initial contract + extensions
Status: Outside IR35
Rate: Dependent on experience. Market rate c.£800/day (negotiable)

Role:

You will support the With-profits Actuary with a range of activities in With-Profits management.

This will include; working on projects across with-profits funds, contribute to investigations, formulate solutions from concept to implementation. There is also scope to work on bonus rates and run-off plans.
Required experience:
* Life Actuary - Qualified or nearly qualified.
* Strong experience in with-profits management
* Good communication and project soft skills.
