Actuarial Practice Head - Charity & Not-for-Profit

Oliver James are pleased to be working with a reputable consultancy seeking an experienced Actuary/Pensions Consultant to head up their Charities and Not-for-profit practice.

Within this role you will take over the leadership of this Practice, primarily advising employers participating in public sector schemes such as LGPS, NHS and third sector organisations. The successful candidate will inherit existing business and client relationships but will also further build the offering maximising on your existing relationships or be willing to develop these.

Role requirements:

• Significant actuarial/consulting experience, working with clients who participate in Local Government and other Public Sector Schemes
• FIA/PMI and/or another relevant professional qualification
• Experience of advising clients on both defined benefit and defined contribution schemes

This consultancy has developed a specialist advisory practice over a number of years, focused specifically on third sector organisations. They are now a market leader within this space and are offering an excellent opportunity for senior consultants/actuary's that want a rewarding career and to truly make a difference. Longevity also need not be a concern within this role with the funds still being open to accrual.
