Senior Reserving Analyst sought for a multinational (re)insurance specialist group with a strong London Market presence. Our client is looking for a nearly qualified Actuary with prior reserving experience to join their Leeds team as a Senior Reserving Analyst.
Our client has developed an extensive growth plan, which involves major changes to their internal operations. Part of this growth plan is to relocate their Reserving function out of the Capital in order to optimize their resource distribution and improve efficiency.
Responsibilities of the Senior Reserving Analyst:
- Support the Actuarial Manager in ensuring processes are fit for purpose and align with business objectives.
- Assisting with managing and compiling data sets for the quarterly Reserving process.
- Comply with both internal and external reporting requirements, minimizing the risk of business discontinuity.
Key experience of the Senior Reserving Analyst:
- Good progression in the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries exams.
- Excellent mathematics skills, specifically in statistics.
- Effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
- Experience within the financial services industry.
