Job Details
Are you a part-qualified (or qualified) GI actuary with reserving experience, seeking to make your mark in the London Market? Then this is a incredible opportunity for you to provide reserving and reporting support across a number of specialty syndicates including aviation, energy, marine, inwards reinsurance and the nuclear business, as well as property and casualty.
You will assist with quarterly reserve reviews for existing businesses, including the provision and review of both year of account, annually accounted and Solvency II figures on a regular basis, and the maintenance of the appropriate models.
The individual will also support the primary review to validate and communicate all key assumptions, results and uncertainties to key actuarial and underwriting individuals when presenting estimates, as well as highlighting areas for improvement.
Good IT skills including knowledge of VBA and Access would be desirable.
