Pricing Analyst (Actuarial) - General Insurance

Arthur Financial are delighted to announce an exciting opportunity for a Pricing Analyst to join a well-established international specialty (re)insurer.

The role will report into the Head of Pricing and the successful candidate will be responsible for providing pricing support across all (re)insurance lines of business.

The successful candidate will assist with the building, development and implementation of pricing models across different products. The successful candidate will produce insight and analytics to define and support pricing and underwriting decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Support the development and implementation of pricing models across different products.
• Support the building and parameterisation of pricing models.
• Design and build analytical tools and dashboards alongside data developers to assess the attractiveness of new markets and optimise the portfolio.
• Utilise knowledge of the market to successfully adapt pricing techniques.
• Utilise actuarial knowledge to support the wider business on pricing questions such as inflation and exposure management.
• Develop strong working relationships with the other pricing analysts and underwriters.

From you they are looking:

• Part qualified actuarial analyst with 3yrs + experience in general insurance pricing.
• A numerate degree achieving a 2:1 or higher.
• Strong technical skills including Python, SQL, and/or Power BI would be advantageous.
• Experience in (re)insurance would be desirable.
