Senior Analyst: Non-Property

Join a top global insurer as a Senior Analyst, specialising in Non-Property Exposures! This is an excellent opportunity to take the next step in your exposure management career in a brand new function. As a key member of the Exposure Management team, you will use your 5+ years of experience to assess, manage, and report on risks across Non-Property lines of business. With a focus on portfolio roll-up, data quality, and process improvement, this role requires an analytical, detail-oriented individual who is passionate about understanding and managing exposures.

In this role, you will work closely with underwriters to understand and communicate portfolio aggregations, and you will assist with maintaining and enhancing processes. You will also have the opportunity to support the development of the company's exposure management techniques for non-modelled perils/territories and to improve existing techniques. Your expertise in data quality analytics will play a crucial role in ensuring the completeness and accuracy of key data inputs. You will also support the automation of the reporting process to minimise manual intervention and provide guidance to junior members of the team.

To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 5 years of experience within an Exposure Management team, with a focus on Casualty, Liability, Specialty, and Cyber classes. Candidates with traditional experience that want to move into Non-property lines are also encouraged to apply. You must have practical experience in portfolio roll-up, control frameworks, MI design, reporting, and communication. A strong understanding of mathematical and statistical concepts and Cat metrics (such as PMLs and AALs) is essential. Additionally, you must have an inquisitive and analytical mindset, with a passion for pulling things apart and understanding how they work.
