Life Actuary - Financial Reporting - Day Rate contract

Oliver James are representing a Life Insurance company who require an experienced Actuary to support Financial reporting activities

The company is offering a day-rate contract (Outside IR35) for 6 months.

The ideal contractor will be a senior qualified or experienced life actuary, with recent experience in financial reporting (IFRS, SII) within credible clients/employers. You should have good stakeholder management skills, strong communication skills and be available in March or April.

Team: You will join a small, efficient team who oversee and coordinate UK and overseas entities. They offer an interesting exposure and approach. The actuarial team is very high quality and collaborative.

Duration: 6 months

Status: Outside IR35 (you can work through an umbrella or Ltd company)

Rate: £700-900 depending on experience.

Location: Home working. Attendance in London office would be welcome.

Role: Support with reporting activities (Solvency II, IFRS): reporting, review and consolidation. Key stakeholder engagements, including the chief actuary.

Required Experience

• Qualified or Experienced Life Actuary
• Strong knowledge of Financial Reporting - Solvency II and IFRS
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills
