Job Details

Senior Pricing Analyst sought after by a renowned UK General Insurer. Our client is looking for an experienced analyst with a strong technical skillset to join their motor team as a Senior Pricing Analyst.

Our client is looking to enhance their pricing capabilities through the exploration of new systems of data within the motor team. They hope to appoint a well-balanced individual who can apply their modelling skills to these data sets as well as support the sustained growth of the Underwriting team.

Responsibilities of the Senior Pricing Analyst:

  • Identify opportunities through data analytics and market knowledge to aid in the development of motor products.
  • Designing, implementing and maintaining pricing systems and strategies that increase value
  • Help to train and develop the more junior members of the pricing team as well as cross-training with wider insurance functions.

Key Experience of the Senior Pricing Analyst:

  • Strong experience modelling with Emblem or Radar, ideally with good knowledge of SQL and R
  • 2 years of Pricing experience within General Insurance
  • Ideally a commercially minded individual with strong communication and analytical skills
