An excellent pricing opportunity has arisen with a leading insurance provider. Our client is looking for a nearly/newly qualified actuary to join their pricing team as a Pricing Actuary. The role comes with a competitive benefits package and a fully remote or hybrid working structure.
About the Pricing Actuary position:
Reporting to the Pricing Manager, the Pricing Actuary will be involved in various interesting pricing projects.
Responsibilities for this role include (but are not limited to):
- Pricing analysis and data validation
- Develop, maintain, and analyse pricing models
- Provide pricing recommendations
- Communicate and work with various teams and stakeholders at an international level
Actuarial abilities required:
The position would suit a nearly or newly qualified actuary with previous general insurance experience. Our client will consider individuals who have a keen interest in moving into the pricing area. Individuals should ideally have experience in the following:
- Pricing experience is highly desired, although not essential
- IT skills including experience with Emblem and Radar
- Problem solving and communication within a team
