Renowned insurer seeking a part qualified Pensions Actuary to join them as a Reinsurance Actuarial Analyst within their market leading Annuity and Equity Release business | London

Oliver James are pleased to be working with a renowned insurer seeking a part qualified Pensions Actuary to join them as a Reinsurance Actuarial Analyst within their market leading Annuity and Equity Release business.

As a member of this team, you will execute longevity and asset reinsurance on annuity liabilities. You will prepare reinsurer counterparty credit charge calculations and support the longevity and asset reinsurance tender process in addition to working with the BPA Pricing and Deal Management teams to optimise terms and ensure effective treaty management.

Role requirements:

• Part qualified Actuary or qualified by experience
• Demonstrable understanding and experience in UK DB pensions market
• Understanding of market risk management fundamentals and have the ability to make compelling written and verbal investment recommendation

This is a prime opportunity for a part qualified pensions actuary to make the move to a reputable insurer working within longevity and asset reinsurance. This is a growing team with considerable investment and focus from the wider group.
