Major insurer has an exciting opportunity for a qualified life actuary with experience in either risk, reporting, pricing or capital management to challenge the capital adequacy of the business and provide technical risk opinions on key strategic initiatives.
In this key role, you will support the oversight of financial reporting, reinsurance, investments, proposition development and pricing, whilst promoting a culture of sound risk awareness.
You will also develop a deep understanding of the stress and scenario framework and provide technical support to the ORSA process.
In addition, you will support the operation of a robust financial risk framework, while leading on the Standard Formula Appropriateness, Actuarial Function Report and model risk management.
With strong business acumen, the successful candidate will possess technical actuarial skills applied to report writing, problem solving and project tasks.
