Senior Change Actuary

Senior Change Actuary sought for a multinational (re)insurance specialist group with a strong London Market presence. Our client is looking for an individual with prior reserving and systems experience to join their Change and Transformation as a Senior Change Actuary.

Our client has developed an extensive growth plan, which involves major changes to their internal operations. They are looking for an Actuary to act as an intermediary, understanding the risks and impacts proposed changes may have on the Actuarial systems and communicating these to the Change and Transformation and the large Actuarial function.

Responsibilities of the Senior Change Actuary:

• Representing Finance & Actuarial's holistic interests at key business change project senior governance meetings, ensuring risks and issues are appropriately raised and remediated.
• Working alongside the Reserving, Capital and Systems teams to improve the efficiency of processes and activities across the Actuarial function.
• Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders to improve customer focus and to understand complex issues.

Key experience of the Senior Change Actuary:

• Understanding of industry best practice in actuarial analysis, modelling, underwriting and risk issues.
• Excellent facilitation and communications skills - both verbal and written with experience of adapting style and approach to the audience and message to be delivered.
• Comfortable with technology concepts, solutions and process methodologies.
