Job Details
Bolton Associates are working exclusively with a P&C business who are looking for an experienced P&C actuary to head up a team of 3 who work exclusively with Japanese clients. The role can be based in either London or Tokyo. Candidates must be able to speak business Japanese and ideally have around 10 - 15 years experience within P&C business - ideally pricing but those candidates from a reserving / consulting background will also be considered. The role would involve:
- Originate, scope and deliver analytics projects including
o Reinsurance pricing and structuring optimisation
o Portfolio modelling
o Showcasing financial modelling capabilities
- Working with clients to understand their goals and key metrics we should be using
- Marketing and injecting analytics perspectives into conversations with brokers and clients
- Working with other analytics teams outside of actuarial, for example catastrophe modelling, to ensure close collaboration and understanding across the teams
