Actuarial Consultant- GMP

Oliver James are pleased to be working with a leading partner led consultancy seeking a dedicated GMP consultant to join their technical actuarial team.

Within this role you will provide an efficient, high quality service to client teams using your technical actuarial skills to enable high quality delivery of GMP equalisation projects for UK defined benefit pension scheme clients. You will also have the option to lead the delivery of client advice on GMP equalisation if you wish, but this is not a requirement of the role.

Role requirements:

• Strong technical knowledge of UK DB pension schemes
• Preference for candidate with GMP equalisation calculation experience, or knowledge of other similar technical actuarial calculations that the team can develop
• Part/ qualified FIA or a candidate who has stopped taking exams, but has sufficient professional experience

This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate that likes getting stuck in to technical work and perhaps isn't so keen on client facing work.
