pmactuarial specialise in Actuarial search within UK Life insurance.  We have been asked to find a Capital Methodology  Actuary for an Edinburgh based Life insurer.

The purpose of the role is to develop, maintain, validate and implement the methodology underpinning capital calculations, mainly the Solvency II Internal Model and IFRS Risk Adjustment, and to undertake experience analysis and recommend updates to the non-economic best estimate assumptions underpinning the Solvency II technical provisions and IFRS.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified Actuary with strong technical capital and risk modelling skills.  You will need an excellent knowledge of Solvency II regulations.
