Senior Pricing Actuary

Ogden Scott is working in partnership with a global (re)insurance business who are seeking a Pricing Actuary to join their team. In this pivotal role, you will be providing pricing for bespoke products, particularly within Marine, Aviation, P&C and Engineering.

The Role:

• Oversee the Pricing function and nurture the growing team of actuarial specialists, through the provision of mentorship and guidance;
• Design and develop technical pricing tools, to ensure maximum efficiency for pricing assumptions;
• Analyse portfolios to highlight profitability and their drivers;
• Cultivate relationships with brokers and clients during visits and renewal meetings;

The business is looking for a qualified actuary (FIA, or equivalent) who has experience in marine, aviation, P&C and/or engineering. As you will be liaising with senior stakeholders and overseeing junior analysts, excellent communication skills are a requirement, as well as a background in R and/or Python.
