Senior/ Risk Actuary, London Market. Reserving or Capital background

Fairbank Partners are looking for a Risk Actuary. The team carries out the parameterisation and first line validation of the internal models, whilst working closely with the Reserving Actuaries. This includes:

• Carrying out parameterisation and validation of Reserve Risk across multiple entities (Lloyd’s and non-Lloyd’s)
• Maintaining and enhancing the Reserve Risk processes
• Preparing relevant documentation to support capital submissions
• Liaising with relevant internal and external stakeholders

The role will offer the individual to move quickly through promotion to a Senior Actuary. The team is circa 6 people and is very much a coordination role and less doing. Although, there is still of course a hands on element.

To be considered you will ideally be an FIA or similar and have 7+ years experience as an Actuary, plus experience in stakeholder relationship management and engagement with a view to achieving effective results in cross-departmental projects.
