Job Details
A fantastic opportunity to join a global insurer as Prudential Risk Director, driving an effective risk management framework across the UK Group.
Leading the risk oversight of capital & liquidity management, you will support and challenge management while ensuring the CRO and governance have a clear understanding of the risks through regular reporting.
You will also lead the risk oversight of investment activity on behalf of both shareholder and customers.
In addition, you will proactively develop and maintain a thorough working knowledge of the internal model and provide effective risk input, challenge and oversight of the internal model and model management, including major model changes.
With a strong understanding of corporate governance frameworks, the successful candidate will possess extensive experience of the relevant regulatory frameworks including Solvency II and ICARA.
A broad understanding of relevant financial contexts e.g. Economic Capital frameworks and solid risk and capital management experience also essential.
You will also have significant experience in qualitative capital and risk modelling, valuations and decision and analysis within the insurance and investment sectors.
