Underwriting Risk Manager - non-traditional capital role

A leading Lloyd's Syndicate is looking to bring on board a Capital Modelling Actuary to undertake a unique role in their growing team. The title of the role would be Group Risk Underwriting Manager.

The role will focus on looking at capital strategy, and not modelling itself. That being said, an actuary that knows about capital modelling will be well placed to make strategical decision about capital allocation to best guide their underwriters. The role would sit under the CUO and not CRO/CA.

The ideal candidate is a part to nearly/newly or a few years post qualified actuary with capital modelling experience who is not looking for a tradiotional capital role.
