Senior Capital Analyst - Nearly / Newly Qualified

Oliver James are currently working with a Life Insurer in London in their search for a Senior Capital Analyst. Our client are looking to make two hires, someone who is nearly qualified (at least half way through their exams) and someone who is qualified (up to 5 years PQE).

This role sits in the Capital Management team and you will be responsible for setting capital targets on a rolling 3 year basis. You will then provide on going support and leadership in tracking and managing the progress.

Other responsibilities will include:

- Capital optimisation and allocation

- Capital Reporting

- Market risk and liquidity risk management

This is an excellent opportunity to join a commercial team that have a big influence on how a successful insurer is ran. The role will also have significant exposure to other stakeholders and teams, including asset management, finance and risk.

The team is a small team of commercial actuaries and to be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate your ability to influence, build relationships and manage stakeholders.
